Every Friday at 7:10 we like to tell you about some 'Totally Awesome' weekend events that is happening around the Bay Area....here are just a few....

Cupid's Undie Run is this Saturday in San Francisco. Be part of something great. Cupid’s is a “brief” fun-run that takes place in the middle of a BIG party. That’s right: party, run (a mile-ish, and at your own pace), party—all in benefit of Children’s Tumor Foundation, and all to #EndNF.

We encourage undies, but we get that it’s not for everyone – so whether you start a team for your friends, join a team or run solo, just come out, have a blast and raise some money for NF research!

  • Noon – Doors open & the party starts at Pedro's Cantina (Across from AT&T Park)
  • 1:00 PM – Awards ceremony
  • 2:00 PM – UNDIE RUN
  • 3:30 PM – Earned open bar closes
  • 4:00 PM – Bag check closes, Cupid’s officially ends

Check out their Facebook Event Page for updates! **RSVP'ing does NOT get you entry into the event. You must register through the official website**

The Dog Film Festival is taking place at the ROXIE Theater on Sunday!

What’s better than a dog film festival?  How about a BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog)  film festival?!  In celebration of the remarkable bond between people and dogs, the Roxie Theater welcomes well-behaved pups to join their human companions at the event. This is especially fitting since the theater is right near Rescue Row, the 200 block of Alabama Street between 15th and 16th streets, where the SFACC and other city animal welfare groups are located.

50% of proceeds will be donated to San Francisco Animal Care & Control

The festival, perfect for dog lovers of all ages, is comprised of two programs of completely different selections of documentary, animated and live-action short films that illuminate human-canine love,  Each screening is approximately 75 minutes long.
