Phil Collins Detained At Brazil Airport

It seems as if no on is immune to "red tape" when it comes to traveling, even rockstars like Phil Collins. Local media in Brazil reported that Phil Collins, 67, was detained for at Rio de Janeiro’s Galeao International Airport before being let into the country.

Apparently Phil didn't have a work visa. Luckily the situation was handled after about 3 hours he was let into the country for his performances. He is also due to perform in Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre before continuing his 11-date run through the Southern Hemisphere in Mexico. I am hoping that this return to touring means that he will set some U.S. dates fairly soon.
