Taco Bell Apologizes After Location Closes Its Doors & Calls Out Employees

A Taco Bell in Fairlawn, Ohio took reprimanding their employees to a whole new level. After the location's employees showed up late, the managers took matters into their own hands and ended up with an unorthodox solution.

They decided to close the inside dining room and posted a note on the door that explained why. "Dining room is closed until this stores workers can show up to work on time! We will happily serve you through the drive thru as quickly as possible. We're very sorry for the inconvenience." And in smaller font at the bottom they added, "Please bare with us until we find the right team to best serve our community!"

Thanks to a Facebook post of the sign, the Taco Bell made headlines and prompted many people to speak out on social media. Many thought the management was disrespectful to put the staff on blast on such a public level.

Delish reached out to Taco Bell for a statement about the sign and closing of the Fairlawn location's dining room and this is what they had to say: "The posting of this sign should not have happened, and the team was immediately re-trained on proper protocol. We can confirm that the dining room reopened within an hour, and we apologize to our customers for any inconvenience."
