Fans of Costco pizza and hotdogs will no longer be able to purchase items from the food court without an active Costco membership.
The bad news broke on the internet thanks to an Instagram post from a popular Costco deals account. The sign in the photo notes that the rule will be effective on March 16th, 2020.
However, a spokesperson from Costco's corporate office reported to CBS 8 that "it's always been the rule that you have to have a membership to use the food court, but it hasn't always been enforced."
So, fans of the food court who don't want to get a membership will have until March 16th to take advantage of the cheap food before they start strictly enforcing the rule.
