San Francisco Reported 1K Jump in Coronavirus Cases in 10 Days

While all nine Bay Area counties now qualify for state’s Coronavirus watchlist, San Francisco is continuing to see a surge in COVID-19 infections, which has left more hospitalizations than any other time during our current pandemic.

San Francisco Public Health Director Dr. Grant Colfax reported that the city had a one thousand jump in Coronavirus cases in just ten days.

"It took us 38 days to go from 2,000 to 3,000 cases. It took just half as long to go from 3,000 to 4,000. And in just 10 days, this month, we went from 5,000 to 6,000 cases of COVID-19," Colfax added, "Let me be clear, we are in a major surge of COVID-19."
