U.S. Postal Service To Have Possible Cuts and Closures Across The Country

The U.S. postal service is said to have possible service cuts and closures across the country. This has caused big concern for a lot of leaders in the U.S. as the 2020 election is less than 100 days away. Louis Dejoy, CEO and postmaster general of the postal organization, is said to be one of the biggest donors for Donald Trump.

A postal service spokesman said the closures and cuts will come because of financial losses,

U.S. postal service has experienced over a decade of financial losses, with no end in sight, and we face an impending liquidity crisis...it is critical that the Postal Service take a fresh look at our operations and make necessary adjustments.

This year because of the coronavirus, many people are counting on mailing in their ballots. Many states also offer drop off ballot stations in their city.
