David Letterman is a comedy genius so it's only fitting that a group of legends are coming together to honor him as he when he receives the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor this October. Paul Shaffer, his old band leader will also help celebrate the late-night host at Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center. The event will be broadcast on November 20th, on PBS.
Eddie Vedder who's band "Pearl Jam" was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame by David will also be on hand to celebrate the comedian.
