''The Monkees" Michael Nesmith Recovering From Bypass Surgery
Michael Nesmith of The Monkees is recovering after a quadruple-bypass heart surgery. Michael explained to Rolling Stone that he was "experiencing severe shortness of breath that caused him to rush to his cardiologist at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula" back in June where he was diagnosed with "congestive heart failure that required quadruple bypass heart surgery." We definitely wish him health and a speedy recovery. Heart surgery is serious stuff!!!!
