Former Dire Straits Members Announce "Legacy" Tour

The Dire Straits Legacy Tour is happening. Mark Knopfler skipped the Rock Hall induction so he won't be along for the ride, but check out who's taking his place and which former members are hitting the road. Band members Alan Clark,  Danny Cummings, Mel Collins and Phil Palmer, are planning to head out later this September for a tour called "DSL Dire Straits Legacy." The Heartbreakers drummer Steve Ferrone, the Buggles’ Trevor Horn along with Marco Caviglia on vocals and Primiano DiBiase will also be joining the band. So far they haven't set any Bay Area dates but as soon as they do I will pass it on.

Do you agree with their decision to continue the band without Mark Knopfler?
