Bay Area Drinking 42 Percent More During Shelter In Place

According to a new report from the SF Chronicle, the Bay Area is drinking 42% more alcohol than usual while sheltering in place. The study was conducted by BACtrack, a company in S.F. that produces smartphone-connected breathalyzer devices., another S.F. based biz also reported that its sales have surged 400% since shelter-in-place orders started. The fact that alcohol delivery has also been approved with food delivery is probably adding more fuel to the fire as well. Have you been drinking more?
