California Superintendent Tony Thurmond acknowledged that online learning will be difficult but these are “unprecedented times. Due to the current safety concerns and needs for ongoing social distancing it currently appears that our students will not be able to return to school campuses before the end of the school year." This does not mean that school is over it just means that the learning has shifted to completely online. The state said that they will provide resources, webinars, and training needed. Google also said that they will donate about 4,000 computers to students.
