SFMTA announced that they will suspend a majority of Muni services this week. The transit agency wants to put the safety of their operators and riders first and foremost. In a report by ABC7 news SFMTA Chief Jeff Tumlin said that only 17 of Muni's 68 lines will operate beginning Tuesday or Wednesday.
The agency also tweeted out more info, "ATTN: Expect longer wait times on most#SFMuniroutes on Mon., 4/6. Working to reconfigure svc to match new travel patterns w/ available resources. Addt’l. svc changes will start Tues & Wed.#SFMuniis for essential trips only.https://t.co/JqPjwG5v5j#StayHomeSaveLives"
