Tom Cruise Working With NASA To Shoot A Film In Outer Space

Tom Cruise is working with the NASA for an upcoming film based in outer space. The head of NASA confirmed that the space agency is indeed working with Tom Cruise to make a movie filmed on the International Space Station. According to early reports Tom Cruise will launch into space and live aboard the space station.

Tom Cruise is no stranger to putting his life on the line for his craft. He is usually eager to perform his own stunts in movies. Although Tom Cruise narrated an IMAX documentary back in 2002 for the space station, this trip would make him the first actor to actually shoot a movie in outer space. Currently Russia is the only nation that has the capability to fly humans into space. Several American companies including Boeing and Elon Musk's Space X have all been hard at work to make that giant leap for mankind.

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said that he hopes this will "inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA's ambitious plans a reality,"
