The New Go-Go's Documentary Trailer Shows A Dark Side Of 80's Fame

The Go-Go’s are legendary in the music world and they were also trailblazers and ground breakers who were born out of the L.A. punk scene, Charlotte Caffey (lead guitar, keyboards and vocals), Belinda Carlisle (lead vocals), Gina Schock (drums), Kathy Valentine (bass and vocals) and Jane Wiedlin (guitar and vocals) were 80's bad girls and a new Showtime documentary takes a closer look at the most successful all female rock band of all time. Things were great when the band was getting along but tensions within the band eventually led to a break up in the mid-80's. It seems like it is going to be an honest look at a band we love and respect and who at the end of the day still have love and respect for one another

The Go-Go’s will release their first new recording in nearly 20 years, “Club Zero,” on July 31st Watch the documentary premiere on Saturday, August 1 at 9/8c on SHOWTIME.
