A lot of musicians and friends have been sharing pictures and messages of love for the late great Eddie Van Halen. Everyone from Metallica's James Hetfield to Chris Rock have shared memories of the famous guitarist. Even the former Journey frotman Steve Perry broke his silence on social media to pay his respects. In true Steve Perry fashion he kept it short and simple tweeting, 'Rest In Peace Eddie Van Halen.' Steve's previous tweet was back in July.

Eddie's former Van Halen bandmates Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth also kept their messages quick and concise.
