Bed Bath & Beyond just announced that they will be closing 63 stores by the end of the year as part of a restructuring plan due to the pandemic.
In July, the store announced that they would be closing 200 stores over the next two years. They also stated last month that they would eliminate 2,800 jobs as they try to streamline their operations and shore up their finances. The store chain operates Buybuy Baby, Christmas Tree Shops and Harmon Face Values.
According to the company, they believe that these store closures are an important step in an effort to create a sustainable, durable business.
