IKEA is looking to hire full & part-time employees at their National Job Fair which will be held on Thursday, November 9 from 2-8pm at their locations in Emeryville, East Palo Alto and store across the country.
Amazon is holding hiring fairs around the Bay Area to fill 800 seasonal warehouse positions that the firm said could lead to full-time jobs.
The job fairs started Thursday with an event in Richmond.
Another will be held Friday at Hyatt House in San Jose, where another one is scheduled for Nov. 10.
On Saturday, a fair takes place at Silliman Center in Newark.
Next Thursday, a fair is set for the Courtyard Marriott in Richmond, and another is to go ahead Nov. 10 at the Doubletree Fremont-Newark in Newark.
Most of the fairs run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., except for the one at the Silliman Center in Newark, which is to run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the one at the Doubletree Fremont-Newark, which is to take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
