Wellness Shot: Tips to Help Your Body Adjust to Daylight Saving Time

Going back an hour in time really does affect our bodies but here are some tips on how to adjust:

Tip 1- Be extra careful driving today. Studies show the Monday after time changes show many more serious car accidents.

Tip 2- You might want to consider taking a Vitamin D supplement because there won't be as much light outside as their normally is. 

Tip 3- Getting darker earlier can cause some feelings of depression or season affective disorder (SAD) is what it's called so you want to make sure you really protect your good night sleep. Avoid naps close to bedtime, stop coffee after lunch, put down the phone and pick up a book.
