Are you putting up holiday lights this year?
Here are some safety tips thanks to our friend Walter at Orinda Hardware
1. You need to have the right extension cord if you are running lights outside. You need one of those thick orange 14 gauge cord or higher because you are running more power to the house.
2. If you are putting up lights inside your house you need to have a power strip with a surge protector.
3. The East Bay Times also has some great tips and one of them includes wearing a helmet!!
