Thanks to the Santa Clara Police Department for tweeting this out.....Here are some great tips on how to keep your house safe if you are traveling for the holidays...
1. Make your house look like it's occupied; leave lights on, etc.
2. Have your mail/newspaper picked up by a neighbor.
3. Never leave keys to your house under your doormat or well known hiding places!
