Totally Awesome "Lights" in the Bay Area

Christmas in the Park is an annual holiday tradition that takes place in the heart of Downtown San José at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez. For over 30 years, this whimsical event has brought people from all over the Bay Area together during the holidays. It's FREE and open to everyone!! 

This will be the last year for the Mickey Mouse House in Marinwood. If you are a Disney fan then you will LOVE this house.....see below...

Alameda’s Christmas Tree Lane is a co-operative effort put on by more than 50 homes. Be sure to have kids stop by a special mail box and drop off their letters to Santa.

Where and when: 3200 block Thomson Avenue, between High Street and Fernside Boulevard, Alameda; 5:30-10 p.m. through New Year’s Eve. 

The Great Christmas House which has been featured in ABC's 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' is a staple in the City of Vallejo. It's located in Glen Cove and it's the first thing you see when you enter the residential area. It's wheelchair friendly and very easy to walk through according to producer Karena who lives in the area. 

The Taylor family has created a holiday fantasy in Vallejo for the past 18 years. Santa even makes a special appearance there every night from 6 to 10pm. The family also has a 'Toys for Tots' drop off at their home. Check it out below....


The light show at Deacon Dave's 352 Hillcrest Avenue home in Livermore has been featured on cable and international TV, with HGTV once ranking it among the biggest home displays in the United States. This year’s show at Casa del Pomba — “House of the Dove” in Portuguese” — is Deacon Dave’s 35th, and is expected to be his biggest yet, boasting more than 500,000 lights.

Want to avoid the crowds?  Mondays and Tuesdays are the slow nights, usually no lines.

Friday and Saturday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Christmas Eve 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Christmas Night 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

December 26th to January 1st 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Candy Cane Lane is located on Arlene Drive in Vacaville, California. There are tons of homes with holiday lights on display...bring your walking shoes because there are blocks and blocks of houses covered in lights.
