I found this really interesting article about which side is better to sleep on. It seems that sleeping on your left side has a lot of interesting benefits including; it helps your digestion because your stomach and pancreas are on your left side. So sleeping on your left allows gravity to help pull food along. You could even take a few minutes after meals to lie down on your left side to help your digestion.
Sleeping on your left side helps blood flow more smoothly to your heart as it gives it a rest. The best part of sleeping on your left side is that it may help with snoring as it helps keep your airways clear and sleeping on your back may be the worst for snoring.
