Scientists believe the best way to enjoy that morning cup of java and lose weight is to drink it black.
We know! But think about dropping pounds. A new study from the Department of Human Nutrition in the Netherlands claims that drinking black coffee -- immediately after waking will boost metabolism. In a scientific journal researches wrote that coffee consumption increases metabolic rates for roughly three hours, which allows people to burn on average an extra 150 calories.
The key is to add no sugar, cream or milk substitutes which work against weight loss efforts. That’s right, good by hazelnut and latte. But, researchers say if you struggle with black coffee a good alternative is cashew milk.
