Here's What Onions Do For Your Health

You probably eat about 20 pounds of onions a year but is it good for you???

Onions are indeed good for you because they can help lower your chance of heart disease. Onions are full of fiber, vitamin C and folic acid which is a B vitamin that can help prevent cancer, heart disease, birth defects, anemia and cognitive decline.

If you are wondering why in fact onions make you tear up when you cut them well scientist think they do that in self defense.

The best onions to buy are the ones that feel nice and firm like a crisp animal. Even though onions are good for us they are VERY BAD for your dogs!!
