U2 are currently holding secret tour rehearsals ahead of their upcoming eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE tour. Of course, these things don't stay secret for long. By Tuesday, fans were already showing up outside Place Bell arena in Laval, Quebec, hoping to catch a glimpse of the band. Fans shared rumors on social media, including photos of trucks used by the same stage and lighting company U2 had used for previous tours.
U2 is expected to rehearse for two weeks before launching the tour in Tulsa, Oklahoma May 2nd. U2 will return to Quebec when they play two nights at Montreal's Belle Centre June 5-6. The band likes to practice in Canada - U2 held pre-tour rehearsals in Vancouver in 2015 and 2017.
