Totally Awesome Weekend Events In The Bay Area & Beyond

All eyes are on the Royal Wedding Saturday. Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle in what's going to be en extravagant affair. The ceremony will begin at noon their local time, which is 7 a.m. ET | 4 a.m. PT. Some stations are starting coverage at 2 a.m. and it's been confirmed that Prince Charles will walk Meghan down the aisle. 

Shout out to chef Claire Ptak, an organic baker from Marin County who is making the wedding cake. She has a bakery in London called, Violet Cakes! 

 
 

The San Jose Earthquakes, the Bay Area’s professional soccer team, are hosting retro night this Saturday, throwing everything back to the days of the 80s. 

The team takes on D.C. United on Saturday at 7:15pm at Avaya Stadium. They will have  an 80s cover band in the 7UP Epicenter pregame, they will be rockin' 80s music throughout the match (including the goal song), you'll be able to see a DeLorean in the Epicenter, the players will wear throwback jerseys for warmups and they will be giving the first 5,000 fans that enter the stadium throwback sweatbands, plus much more.

The Oakland VegFest is back for it’s fourth year.

As always, the VegFest is totally free and open to the public, and will feature awesome food, vendors, speakers, and a kids area.
