Crowded House's Neil Finn Talks Joining Fleetwood Mac

How Did Neil Finn End Up In Fleetwood Mac?

The rock world was stunned when Fleetwood Mac announced earlier this year that they would be continuing on without longtime member Lindsey Buckingham. To take his place, the band has brought on Crowded House's Neil Finn. And while it seems like to fans the teaming up came out of nowhere, in reality, the relationship began long ago. Finn told Australia's ABC News that he met Mick Fleetwood "many, many years ago" and "something clicked." Fleetwood ended up playing drums on a recent project for Finn. Then the time came for Fleetwood to make an offer of his own, asking Finn to join his band, which Finn called, "strange but kind of exciting." Finn, along with former Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell are now full members of Fleetwood Mac's lineup.
