Grateful Dead Will Celebrate Jerry Garcia's Birthday At The Movies

August 1st, 2018 will mark Jerry Garcia's 76th birthday, and Deadheads will be celebrating by going to the movies. That's the date of the annual "Grateful Dead Meet-Up at the Movies", where Dead fans gather in movie theaters across the country to watch a broadcast of a classic Grateful Dead concert. This year will be the Dead's July 7th, 1989 show, which was the last concert ever played at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia.
