The Little Mermaid with the San Francisco Symphony
The Davies Symphony is featuring an all-time favorite Disney classic; they'll perform song's from "The Little Mermaid." Travel back to 1989 through the sounds of the orchestra performing the Oscar and Grammy award-winning score that we all know and love. There are several performances this weekend. The city of Oakley, one of California’s youngest cities, is turning 18 and they are having a big celebration at Freedom High School, with music, vendors, food, and a fireworks show.
All activities will close precisely at 9 pm in anticipation of the fireworks show which starts at approximately 9:30 pm. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners to enjoy the music and fireworks show.
Admission is free; $5 wristbands are also available for purchase for the children’s activities and rides. Children up to the age of 5 may receive a free wristband.
The 17th Annual Art & Garden Festival, one of Petaluma's most loved events will again take place the weekend after Independence Day! The event is from 11 am to 5 pm, on July 8th, 2018, for a fun-filled day for all the family. Enjoy local crafters, artisans, gardeners, live music on two stages and an array of local wineries, breweries, restaurants & fine food purveyors will offer tastings. This event is free to attend, but you have to purchase a Tasting Package in order to partake in all the great wine, craft beer, cocktails, and food tasting.
