John Lennon's "Imagine" Film Returning To Theaters
If you never got to see John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Imagine" film when it was originally in theaters, you're in luck. The 1972 documentary is returning to screens, restored and remixed on September 17th. Both Lennon and Ono directed the film, which was shot the year before as the former Beatle recorded his 1971 album Imagine. This time around it will feature 15 minutes of never-before-seen footage. On October 9th, what would have been Lennon's 78th birthday, Ono is putting out Imagine John Yoko, a 320-page book detailing the album's creation with over 80% of photos never before published.
