Bay Area Weekend Events

It's Clear the Shelters weekend which is a nationwide pet adoption drive to help find loving homes for animals in need and one of our favorite places, MUTTVILLE, is participating in the event. All adoption fees are waived for qualified adopters. MUTTVILLE specializes in senior dogs who are ready for new homes.

Noise Pop is proud to announce today the sixth annual 20th Street Block Party will return to San Francisco’s Mission District on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As in previous years, the beloved Bay Area block party-style event is free to attend and will again benefit its 19th Street neighbors — the Mission Language and Vocational School (MLVS), a nonprofit organization that has been a Mission staple for nearly 50 years.

The festival is FREE but they do ask for donations. The party will have music, food, and plenty of entertainment.

 
 

The Stern Grove Festival welcomes The Revolution this Sunday, August 19th—Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z, BrownMark and Dr. Fink—is the band behind the music icon, Prince. The festival starts at 2 pm. Seating is first to come, first served.

Celebrate the finale of Stern Grove Festival’s 81st Season with the music of a legend, featuring the funktastic sound of The Revolution. Local band Big Blu Soul Revue opens the show with classic soul swagger.
