Every morning around 7:10 am I share with you some good news in a segment I like to call 'Totally Awesome.' This is where you call in and share any bit of good news you may have and I am thrilled to tell you that good news can potentially save your life.
Positivity reduces your risk of a heart attack or stroke. This was discovered by scientists at both North Western and Harvard Universities. Being optimistic reduces stress and anxiety chemicals like adrenaline that can place a burden on your heart and raise your blood pressure.
One thing you can do to increase your positivity is taking a moment to look at nature. A tree, a pigeon, anything involving nature can increase a feeling of overall well being.
