Independence High School In San Jose Looking To Break Guinness World Record

Every morning at 7:10 am we shout out your good news in a segment we call 'Totally Awesome' and Renee from San Jose called to tell us about a BIG reunion she is helping to put together for anyone who has ever attended Independence High School in San Jose.
IHS is looking for all former students - who attended or graduated - faculty and staff from the school's opening in 1976 thru the graduating class of 2018. The reunion will be held on October 20th but you must register to attend by September 15th because they are trying to break the Guinness World Record by having the biggest high school reunion.
The reunion festivities begin with a Friday night football game versus Del Mar High School, complete with performances by the IHS "SuperBand," “SuperSpirit Squad” and “iDance Ensemble.”
This exciting weekend will bring together IHS grads and students from across the generations with all proceeds to benefit IHS Student Activities and Athletics.
