2018 Eat Real Street Food Festival in Oakland-FREE

September 14-16, 2018– Friday: 3 pm to 10 pm– Saturday: 11 am to 10 pm– Sunday: 11 am to 6 pm-Jack London Square, Oakland-FREE entry; food and drink available for purchase

Eat Real combines a state fair, a street-food festival, and a block party to create a celebration of good food. At the Eat Real Festival, participants learn where food comes from, who grows it, and how to make it.

 
 

Bark in the Park San Jose, the largest dog festival in the United States, will be held at William Street Park in downtown San Jose on Saturday, September 15, 2018-FREE but they are asking for a $5 donation. 

Bark in the Park San Jose attracts 3,900 dogs and 15,000 humans. Located in an expansive, tree lined park, this casual event features contests, beverages, food, agility courses, kids’ activities, over 75 different dog-related vendors and services, and dogs, lots of dogs.

 

The Pet Food Express Bay Area Pet Fair features more than 70 California pet rescues and shelters in attendance, with over 2,000+ adoptable dogs, cats and small animals. It is the largest pet adoption fair in the nation.

2018 will be the 23rd year of The Lafayette Art, Wine and Music Festival. It's held the 3rd weekend in September and is perhaps the largest annual festival in Contra Costa County.

Dates: Sat, Sept 15, 2018 (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.) & Sun, Sept 16, 2018 (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) Admission: FREE Kids Zone: Ticket is $1-$5 for different activities Drink Tickets: $7 for individual ticket. Individual wine or beer glass is $7.

**Neon Velvet will be performing on Saturday and they play a lot of 80s New Wave style music. The Spazmatics which is also an awesome 80s hits band will be performing on Sunday**

 
 

Blues, Brews & BBQ in Alameda-Sunday, September 16th Only

West End Arts and Entertainment District with West Alameda Business Association present the 4th annual Blues, Brews and BBQ. A community event produced by locals. Come out and support a day of delicious BBQ, frosty local brew and down home blues by some of the original blues masters of Oakland.
