38th Annual San Francisco Fleet Week October 2 – 8, 2018

San Francisco-FREE

Much more than just the Blue Angels, this yearly festival and celebration of military power typically features a full airshow, Coast Guard rescue demonstrations, plus Navy ship tours, live music, a parade of ships underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, and tons more

Air Show & Blue Angels – Oct 5-7

Taking place over three consecutive days in the skies above the City’s waterfront, this event attracts over a million people around the Bay.

Featuring the Blue Angels, Navy Leap Frogs, Patriots Jet Team, Team Oracle, a fly-by by a United 777, Lucas Oil Air Shows and tons more.

Bark in the Park “K9 Heroes” – Sat. Oct. 6 at Duboce Park 11am-1pm-Part of Fleet Week 

The annual “Bark at the Park” honors our K-9 heroes and their human friends. Watch and learn about working K-9s. Each year is different but expect to see demos of doggies that work for the coast guard, SFPD, the fire department, the sheriff’s department, U.S. Customs, and Border Patrol and more.

The Vallejo Waterfront Weekend is a two-day festival celebrating the City of Vallejo, Historic Mare Island, and Solano County. There will be music, food and a fun zone for the kids. There's also a ton of stuff happening along the water!!

2018 Art, Jazz & Wine Festival Saturday, October 6, 2018 | 10 am-6 pm-Sunday, October 7, 2018 | 11 am- 5pm-Downtown Pleasant Hill, 40 Crescent Dr, Pleasant Hill

Presented in partnership with the City of Pleasant Hill and Downtown Pleasant Hill, enjoy a weekend of free live music, fun activities and expanded entertainment area for children, over 70 arts & craft vendors, premium wine pavilion as well as a craft beer garden. Stay for the Saturday evening concert with East Bay Mudd from 6:30pm-8: 45 pm. Don’t miss this favored bay area event for the entire family.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2018 - FREE

Three days, six stages, 80 artists-Friday-Sunday, Oct. 5, Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, 2018– The meadows typically open at 10 am each day. Hellman Hollow, Lindley & Marx meadows in Golden Gate Park.

Former Fleetwood Mac artist Lindsey Buckingham will be appearing on Friday.

45th Annual Castro Street Fair Sunday, October 7, 2018 | All Day-Castro and Market Streets, SF-FREE

The fair is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, on 18th street between Castro and Collingwood and the surrounding area. The Castro Street Fair is a community street celebration that was founded by Harvey Milk in 1974.

Hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations line the streets and celebrate the diversity of the neighborhood. Stages with live entertainment and dance stages can be found throughout the fairgrounds.
