The Minnesota Timberwolves are updating the look of their "City Edition" jerseys and along with the refresh, the team is subtly paying tribute to The Purple One. According to The Ringer, the T-Wolves have selected a purple color scheme and a font style resembling the one Prince used on both the album and film, Purple Rain. The late legendary musician, who died in April 2016, hails from Minnesota. The team has not released a price and release date just yet.
