Weekend Events In The Bay Area

It’s that time of year. You’ll have an extra hour to sleep on Sunday, so this is a friendly reminder that the clocks move back one hour early Sunday on November 4, 2018, at 2 am.



AT&T Park will be transformed into a science wonderland for the 8th annual concluding event of the Bay Area Science Festival for a free science extravaganza.  Interactive exhibits, experiments, games, and shows, all meant to entertain and inspire. With more than 150 exhibits, everyone can find something that will unleash their inner scientist.

What to Expect in 2018

Experience over 150 hands-on activities from the Bay Area’s leading science and technology organizations. Universities, science museums, research labs, after-school groups, and local companies will all be there. Join in for an unprecedented opportunity to meet scientists, engineers, programmers, nurses, doctors, technician and more.

CHEVRON STEM ZONE Join Chevron on the field for fun, interactive activities where you can get an inside look at the science of sports, train like an astronaut, explore robotics and more.

LIFE SCIENCE ALLEY Experience the best of biotech with the Bay Area’s leading life science companies. Extract your DNA, explore your genes, and meet the scientists engineering the next cure.

ROBOT ZOO The Club level of AT&T Park will be overrun with robots of all shapes and sizes. Get up and close to robots built by students, startups, and research organizations.

NEW – TEEN AREA New in 2018, Discovery Day at AT&T Park will have a Teen Area on the Club level. Join other teens as you engage in activities for teens, led by teens, scientists, engineers, and educators.
