Foreigner Reunites With Original Members For Shows
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Foreigner's second album, Double Vision, founding member Mick Jones wanted to do "something special and a little unexpected." So he got the band's entire classic lineup to join the current lineup for a few shows. The first of four "Double Vision: Then And Now" shows kicked off Friday night in Los Angeles with both eras of Foreigner playing songs from the best selling, seven times platinum record.
Jones told USA Today that both current singer Kelly Hansen and original frontman Lou Graham "really hit it off like a house on fire," and the rest of the band was really into performing. Foreigner will return for the remaining two reunion shows at the end of the month at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City and Mohegan Sun on December 1st.
