Ring in the holiday season with Jack London Square’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Oakland on Friday, November 30th from 5 to 8 pm-FREE

The festivities include live music and entertainment from local musicians and arts groups, holiday pop-up shops, and a special appearance by Santa Claus. The festivities are open to the public and free to attend, with tasty drinks and holiday treats available for purchase. Jack London Square’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will host a donation drive to collect non-perishable foods, unwrapped toys, and gently worn coats for several nonprofit organizations, including the Oakland Fire Department, One Warm Coat, and more to be announced at a later date.

The City of American Canyon is having a Snow Day on Saturday, December 1 from 12 to 5 pm at Shenandoah Park (100 Sonoma Creek Way)

Snow Day is a can't miss event!! This year come to participate in their famous snow play area, themed villages, giant slide, inflatable game, jump castles, trackless train rides, food vendors, and more!

2018 Winter Spectacular in Redwood City 

The annual Children’s Festival and Light Show in downtown Redwood City features a parade, musical performances and entertainment, real snow to play in, a carnival, Santa Claus and more.

Each year, on the first Saturday of December, Redwood City’s Downtown throws a party in celebration of the holiday season. They have a parade, entertainment, snow, and Santa Claus. Bring the little ones and watch the tree lighting in Courthouse Square followed by the Caltrain Holiday Train.

Please note, unfortunately, there will not be any fireworks in 2018.
