Lindsey Buckingham may still be a solo act, but at least he and his former Fleetwood Mac bandmates have settled their legal differences. "We've all signed off on something," Buckingham said in an interview that aired Saturday on CBS. "I’m happy enough with it. I'm not out there trying to twist the knife at all. I'm trying to look at this with some level of compassion, some level of wisdom." The suit, which the guitarist filed in October, claimed the group's decision to fire Buckingham in January was a breach of fiduciary duty and violated an oral contract.
His dismissal has been reported to have been championed by his former girlfriend and bandmate Stevie Nicks. Details of the settlement have not been revealed. Lindsey says he hasn't spoken to any members of the band since he left.
