For a member of a tribute band, nothing can be so rewarding as getting critiqued by one of the musicians you're paying homage to -- even if the critique is more like a threat. That's confirmed by Steve White, the "Paul McCartney" in the Beatles tribute band the Bootlegs. He tells Music Radar the band was once approached by the real McCartney while performing at the Queen's Jubilee. "He said, 'Don't play 'Hey Jude' because I'm doing it,'" White says. "Then he said, 'When you're on, I'm going to come and heckle you!'" There's no word on whether the Bootlegs kept "Hey Jude" in their set list. Click Here to read the entire interview on Music Radar!
