Longtime soap opera star Susan Lucci is telling other women to pay attention to their health after her recent emergency heart procedure. During an interview with Good Morning America, Lucci said she felt some chest discomfort last October but ignored it. The third time she felt pain, she thought it would be best to go to the hospital. Doctors found one artery was 90 percent blocked and the other was 75 percent blocked. Lucci needed emergency surgery to place stents in order to relieve the blockages. The heart disease was a surprise to Lucci. She exercises 6 to 7 days a week and she eats a healthy diet. Her scare has led her to tell other women to "listen to your symptoms and act upon them." Heart disease is the number one killer for women according to the American Heart Association.
