The ketogenic or Keto diet is ahigh-fat, low-carbohydrate eating plan. The idea is when you have more fats and fewer carbs, your body goes into “ketosis” where you burn fat instead of carbs for fuel.
Steak, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese and butter, are all given the thumbs up on the keto diet. Will you lose weight? Studies show you can shed unwanted pounds on this diet regimen.
