UFO is celebrating their 50th anniversary with a farewell tour. UFO, which had nearly a dozen albums hit the charts in the 1970s and 1980's made the announcement via a news release. UFO's vocalist, Phil Mogg, explained the decision to retire, "This decision has been a long time coming, I've considered stepping down at the end of UFO's previous tours in 2016. I don't want to call this a farewell tour as I hate that word, but this year's gigs (2019) will represent my final tap-dancing appearances with the band.
Check out this classic UFO video below. Pete Way (bass), Andy Parker (drums), Phil Mogg (vocs) and Michael Schenker. Doctor doctor where can I get a sparkle shirt like Phil Mogg’s?? Enjoy this look at the early hard-rock days!
