Rock legend Mick Jagger is reportedly resting in a New York hospital after undergoing a successful heart valve replacement procedure.
Doctors, who describe Thursday's procedure as "minimally invasive," say they were able to replace the Rolling Stone frontman's aortic valve with a catheter, eliminating the need to open his chest. Because of this, they say Jagger is expected to recover more quickly and will likely be released in a few days.
News of the 75-year-old's ailment first broke on March 30, when the Rolling Stones announced they were postponing their summer tour of the U.S. and Canada so Jagger could seek treatment. Assuming there are no complications from the procedure, the tour is now expected to get underway in July.
