Baseball season is here and the San Francisco Giants host their home opener Friday (04/05) at the newly named Oracle Park. Giants host the Tampa Bay Rays. First pitch is at 1:35 pm. Gates open at 11:05 am. The Giants have issued this statement in regards to the weather'

"Our home opener is one of the most special games for our fans, and we intend to play the game today. Given the inclement weather in the forecast, there may be a possible delay with the scheduled start time. Oracle Park gates will open at 11:05 a.m. PT, regardless of the start time. We are closely monitoring the forecast and will provide regular updates as information becomes available. Beginning at 6:30 a.m. Friday, we will provide hourly updates via the official Twitter account @SFGiants, and sfgiants.com"

Kids-size Monster Jam mania is taking over Hillsdale Shopping Center on Sunday, April 6, 2019 from 12-3 pm. Roll in to enjoy all the kid-friendly action, no driver’s license necessary! Kids can get behind the wheel to test drive a mini “Grave Digger” truck around an indoor racetrack. They can participate in a toy Monster Truck painting workshop - even keep the toy truck to take home – and get down in the dirt in a mini Rally Arena play area. “Grave Digger” test drive restricted to kids over 3 years old and under 42” tall. The 2019 United Airlines Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon in San Francisco is this Sunday, April 7th. Expect rolling closures along the Embarcadero and throughout San Francisco. Festivities start at 5:30 am.
