While the B-52s enjoyed their greatest success in the late '80s and early '90s, the Georgia-based band has actually been together since well before that -- 40 years, according to them. Which is why they've announced plans to embark on a 40th Anniversary tour.
The tour will also feature alt-rock relics OMD and Berlin. The tour kicks off May 4th in West Palm Beach and hit 41 cities before wrapping up with a September 24th performance in New York.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday. The band will be playing at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga on August 12th.
Meanwhile, the B-52s have also announced that a book is on the way which will be the first-ever official history of the band, due in 2020. They are also developing an authorized documentary. Click Here for more!!
