Bruce Springsteen was just nominated for an Emmy for his Netflix special Springsteen On Broadway. That means The Boss is within reach of one of the most exclusive clubs in all of entertainment - the EGOT.
EGOT stands for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony. Bruce already has a shelf full of Grammys, and won an Oscar in 1994 for"Streets of Philadelphia". Last year, Springsteen on Broadway was given a special Tony award, so the Emmy is all that's left.
Bruce will face Emmy competition from fellow rock legend Paul McCartney, whose Carpool Karaoke special was also nominated.
