To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the album Arthur, the Kinks are putting out a four-disc deluxe box set jam-packed with tons of goodies for fans. Coming on October 25th, the re-release features the remastered record in both stereo and mono, along with bonus tracks, demos, rehearsals, remixes, and BBC performances.
Also included is a lost Dave Davies solo LP that was started at the time of the Arthur sessions, but was never completed because the guitarist "felt The Kinks' management and record company were forcing me too much." But that's not all. A 68-page book with interviews and photos of the Brit rockers plus a script for a proposed play based on the album comes joins the set.
