Def Leppard's Joe Elliott To Release Album With Side Project

It's been five years since Joe Elliott's other band, Down 'N' Outz, released their last record, but they're back with something new and completely different.

The Def Leppard frontman's side project, along with four members of the Quireboys, previously put out two albums of Mott the Hoople covers. But for album number three, Elliott penned 11 songs, plus tossed in a cover of The Tubes' "White Punks on Dope."

"Recorded in infrequent bursts of activity over a five-year period whenever our respective motherships allowed," Elliott says, "I'm extremely proud of what we've achieved with this album."

Copies of This Is How We Roll are available for pre-order, which is expected to drop on October 11 in CD, vinyl, and digital formats.
